Mrinal K. Sen Mrinal K. Sen received his B.Sc (1977) and M.Sc (1979) degress in Applied Geophysics from Indian School of Mines and a PhD in Geophysics (Theoretical Seismology) from the University of Hawaii at Manoa (Hawaii Institute of Geophysics). He is a senior research scientist at the Institute for Geophysics of the University of Texas at Austin. His research areas include seismic wave propagation, inverse theory, seismic imaging and computational physics.
Raghu K. Chunduru Raghu K. Chunduru is a Senior Geophysicist at Shell. Prior to joining at Shell he worked as a research scientist at Baker Huges for five and half years. He recieved his M.Sc.(Tech) (1989) in Geophysics from Osmania University and M.S. (1992) in Applied Physics from University of New Orleans. He received his Ph.D. (1996) in Geophysics from The University of Texas at Austin. He holds five patents and authored and co-authored in several technical publications. His experience includes Geophysical Inversion, Borehole Geophysics, Quantitative Interpretation and Pore Pressure Prediction.
Subhashis Mallick Subhashis Mallick received his Bachelors degree with honors in geological sciences in 1976 and masters degree in exploration geophysics in 1978, both from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. After working in the industry for five years, he joined the University of Hawaii in 1983 and obtained a PhD degree in geophysics in 1987. After working as a post-doctoral researcher for three years at the University of Hawaii, in 1990 he joined Western Geophysical Company (now called WesternGeco). In 2005, he left WesternGeco and joined Chevron Energy Technology Company. Beginning Fall 2008, he joined the faculty of the University of Wyoming as a Professor of Geophysics. His research and teaching interests include all aspects of computational seismology and their application in reservoir characterization and carbon sequestration monitoring.
Partha S. Routh Partha Routh received his masters degree in exploration geophysics in 1993 from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. He completed his PhD in 1999 from University of British Columbia, Canada. Presently he is working as Senior Research Geophysicist at ExxonMobil, URC, Houston. His research and teaching interests include modeling and inversion of electromagnetic data as well as seismic data.
