Welcome to the North American Chapter of Society of Petroleum Geophysicists, India ("SPGNA"). The purpose of SPGNA is to foster and promote research, publications, financial support for students in India, student outreach, networking between geoscientists in India and abroad, and other geoscience programs endorsed by the SPGNA Executive Council. It came into existence on 26th September 2002. Presently there are about 100 members from both academia and industry. The members of SPGNA get benefits in terms of networking, research collaborations and career guidance. It also serves as one of the many ways to  ‘give back’.
